The Sproutella gun is first seen in a cut-scene early on in the adventure game Grim Fandango. The gun hold two rounds in the chamber which can be fired in succession with two pulls of the trigger.
Sproutella bullets have a small injection system on the end that forces the pellet inside the victim, possibly because of the victims bone exterior. A yellow/green substance is injected into the victim, depending on the amount injected the victim pushes up flowers from their body, ultimately ceasing to live. The substance itself is lethal to the wandering souls of The Land of the Dead, so any form of contact will kill them.
