The #1 Game of My Childhood
I think I was about eight years old when I got this game for my birthday, and this is the game that introduced me to the world of video games beyond Goldeneye 007, which was the only other game I played. I love the bright colors, clever (and in the case of Tree Tops, perplexing) level designs, and all the little nooks and crannies to explore. However, something that has always stood out about this series (or at least the PlayStation originals) is the soundtrack composed by Stewart Copeland. The soundtrack mixes perfectly with the graphics to deliver a fun, happy experience. The gameplay is addicting; you won't want to quit until you find everything. Even today, the game is fun in a way that some older games, like Goldeneye, aren't. I'm not sure how much of my high opinion is brought on by nostalgia, but if you haven't played this, you need to.
