Anyway, it's not officially out on the marketplace as of yet (now it is,) but if you search SSX through Bing on the Xbox 360 you can download it.
SSX
Game » consists of 7 releases. Released Feb 28, 2012
The sixth entry in the Snowboard Super X series that allows players to ride down real world mountains in dangerous weather conditions.
Pssst, demos out.
@CaLe: I went through xbox.com, searched for ssx, and it popped up with the demo to add to queue. Maybe not out in all of the world yet but might be worth a try.
So no luck for PSN users? Bummer! Ah well, I didn't need a reason to delay my studies anymore anyway.

Yeah I've tried both Xbox.com and searching through bing. It brings me to the page and even shows a demo but there is no way to download it. It just lets me add the videos to my download queue, not the demo itself. I'm guessing it's just a regional thing and will probably update soon enough. Hopefully anyway.
@CaLe: Yeah, that's what it did for me and then I tried like 20 minutes later and I could download it. Might be down to region, dunno.

I am not in the US but was able to add it to my download queue through the US marketplace! Try that if you can't get it from your own.
Man, I think I'm going to stick with standard controls. Although It's going to take some adjustment, especially after just playing SSX3 to get ready for this game. I keep accidentally rewinding because I'm used to classic controls.
I'm in Australia, and I got it by the Bing method just put ssx in and it was there. It was about the fourth option down in the results, the first few being just videos.
It took me a little while but I got gold in both events! Feels good, man. The new controls are sick. Also, HAVE YOU SEEN THIS FUCKING GAME?!? IT IS BAT SHIT CRAZY NUTS. Handles SUPER well, very responsive and fun as fuck.
New Zealand Trick It High Score: 14,753,204
Add me on xbox: JammyEntree
Edit: 16,774,041. Nice.
It's crazy how well this game flows. This demo is making the wait until next Tuesday even harder. I want the full game bad now, it's been a while since I've enjoyed an arcade-y sports game. Probably since THPS3 or Downhill Domination.

lol, can't even get 10 million. But yes game flows super well, really surprised how I took the exact same route three times in a row, yet they felt different. Also, cool soundtrack.
@CaLe: There's a rail at the top of it that's more toward the left side of it, like right at the crest. Then you could just jump off the rail to the left and continue that way. I've found that I get the biggest scores finding big air on more than just the actual lit jumps, doing weird loop-dee-loops in the frozen river, pulling über tricks each time. Also, repeating tricks is VERY BAD for your score, but also mostly for your boost! If you repeat a trick it hardly gives you any boost and in a race where you need it, that sucks. So get good at planning out your upcoming tricks fast, and make sure they're different but still worth hella points. Or just shred and have fun! That's what I do. I get bigger bonerz from just finding a line that flows super well and continually stomping disgusting tricks and going super fast. This demo fuckin' rules.

@CaLe: Hmm, I still have to decide what controls I want to use. I used the right stick for tricks and A for jumping.
I don't know how I feel about the bonus stats connected to the characters. I'd rather choose my character based on looks and not on stats.
I found that using the stick made it harder to do the alternate version of each trick. Hitting B and then holding Y worked easier than pushing right and then holding up for example. Could just be me though.
@D_Justice91: Thanks for the tips! I'll add you as someone to aim for^^
Girlfriend is going to her parent's tonight, so downloading this for sure. May end up purchasing over ME3, too.

@CptBedlam: Interesting thing about that is once the characters are maxed out at level 10 they will all have the same stats so at-least it will even out eventually.
That's good to hear. I was hoping for something like this.
Yeah I was so happy to hear it as I didn't want Mac to be the one to use for trick events as I like the other characters. Source is here: http://www.livestream.com/ssxubercast/video?clipId=pla_dd62df24-7b14-4e4c-9fc7-691bbf098bee&utm_source=lslibrary&utm_medium=ui-thumb 2 hour interview with Todd Batty (some great stuff in here) and he mentions that even the bonuses that special boards give you will become mute when your stats are at max to avoid the rich buying their way to victory.
Demo feels great, a lot easier to control and has a way better flow to it since I last played it at Gamescom. Can't wait for the full game.
