Destiny has been leading me towards this day ever since I pulled a five dollar copy of SSX 3 from a bargain bin at Circuit City hoping for something decent, but finding a work of stylistic and mechanical art. COME TO ME DEMO!

Yeah I've tried both Xbox.com and searching through bing. It brings me to the page and even shows a demo but there is no way to download it. It just lets me add the videos to my download queue, not the demo itself. I'm guessing it's just a regional thing and will probably update soon enough. Hopefully anyway.

I am not in the US but was able to add it to my download queue through the US marketplace! Try that if you can't get it from your own.

Just realized this as well through Xbox.com, the demo is pretty fun and it plays pretty much how I envisioned it by the coverage. Not sure I like snowboarding enough to warrant buying it att full price, but certainly a game I might consider picking up eventually.

Man, I think I'm going to stick with standard controls. Although It's going to take some adjustment, especially after just playing SSX3 to get ready for this game. I keep accidentally rewinding because I'm used to classic controls.

I'm in Australia, and I got it by the Bing method just put ssx in and it was there. It was about the fourth option down in the results, the first few being just videos.

Taking some getting used to but I really love how it feels. Why is the refer a friend to unlock Mac button greyed out for me though? I wanna unlock him! Also I'd like more people to compete with so add Zandatsu if you want someone for the leaderboards!

So what do y´all think about the demo? Anyone here who never played SSX but thinks it is awesome? I never had interest in those kind of games but this game looks crazy.

It's crazy how well this game flows. This demo is making the wait until next Tuesday even harder. I want the full game bad now, it's been a while since I've enjoyed an arcade-y sports game. Probably since THPS3 or Downhill Domination.

lol, can't even get 10 million. But yes game flows super well, really surprised how I took the exact same route three times in a row, yet they felt different. Also, cool soundtrack.

Nice! Do you know how to get to the left side of the dam? Seems like there's a lot more big air over there but I run out of boost before getting to it. 12 million is my highest so far.

Hold left and hit jump? I'm using the right stick for my jumps and the buttons for tricks. Just unlocked Mac and beat my best score immediately so I recommend unlocking him.

I don't know how I feel about the bonus stats connected to the characters. I'd rather choose my character based on looks and not on stats.

@CaLe: There's a rail at the top of it that's more toward the left side of it, like right at the crest. Then you could just jump off the rail to the left and continue that way. I've found that I get the biggest scores finding big air on more than just the actual lit jumps, doing weird loop-dee-loops in the frozen river, pulling über tricks each time. Also, repeating tricks is VERY BAD for your score, but also mostly for your boost! If you repeat a trick it hardly gives you any boost and in a race where you need it, that sucks. So get good at planning out your upcoming tricks fast, and make sure they're different but still worth hella points. Or just shred and have fun! That's what I do. I get bigger bonerz from just finding a line that flows super well and continually stomping disgusting tricks and going super fast. This demo fuckin' rules.

I found that using the stick made it harder to do the alternate version of each trick. Hitting B and then holding Y worked easier than pushing right and then holding up for example. Could just be me though.

Yeah I was so happy to hear it as I didn't want Mac to be the one to use for trick events as I like the other characters. @Binarynova: Doesn't the Mass Effect 3 demo grant you Gold for a short period of time? If so download that then download SSX.

Or can you no longer create a new account and get a Gold Trial on that? Surely there's a way...

Demo feels great, a lot easier to control and has a way better flow to it since I last played it at Gamescom. Can't wait for the full game.

I haven't played an ssx game since ps2 and could barely get silver on the race event, but I am going to have a blast getting good at this game.

I just realized that I spent more than two hours on one track, the game has more than a 150.... oh god.
