Three years after Rogue Squadron I was released for the Nintendo 64, Factor 5 went back to work on another Star Wars space simulation game. Star Wars: Battle for Naboo, was released on both the Nintendo 64 and PC on December 14, 2000. Intended to be a sequel to Rogue Squadron, players take control of Gavyn Skyes, a lieutenant in Naboo's security force, and follow his attempts to free Naboo from Trade Federation forces during the time of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
