It's worth it imo. While the gameplay may get repetitive it's got a very good story that makes it worth it.

How good does this run on PC's, does it feel like a buggy port?

Wow! That's pretty cool. I HATE it when PC ports of console games are all tiny and compressed to hell to fit on a DVD, even if they're digitally distributed. That's one more reason I like Bioware PC games too.

Still gonna skip this one though. Not my style.

Apparently you need a beast PC to run it well.

When i played it, it worked really badly with a lot of slowdowns.

After the later patches is the game better?

@Jeust: Who knows, game went under the radar on PC. If a game like this needs 30GB, it must be super unoptimized.

I just bought it for the nice price and Steam is reporting 25400 MB.
Which is 4.6 GB less than 30 GB.

Also, I "currently do not have enough disk space available to run this game" and should probably start using my undesignated partition.

I beat the game a week or so ago on PC.

It's certainly playable, but it has some real issues, not the least of which is crashing every level or two. Not a total deal breaker, but it certainly gets annoying. Also, it is very clearly a port; the menus are completely unintuitive, and you can't change any graphic or controller settings without opening the launcher outside the game. The graphics themselves are pretty awful, even for an older game, and it in no way, shape or form should be 30 gigs. Also worth noting is that I played the entire game with a 360 controller, so I have no idea how well keyboard and mouse works.

Specs wise, I ran the game at full everything, 1920x1080 with AA and got 35-45 FPS average, although sometimes it would dip to the teens or even sub-10 FPS for no explicable reason. I'm running an Ati Quad core at 3.2GHz, 4 gigs or RAM and an HD4890 on Windows 7 x64, for comparison.

So yeah, hope that helps anyone. It's not a great game and it certainly has both technical and gameplay flaws, but for $8 it's certainly worth a purchase, even if just for the story.

EDIT: Also worth noting that I've been running the latest v1.2 patch, although from Steam that's kind of irrelevant.
