As much I hate the word, SteamWorld Dig is very much a Metroidvania style game. And it’s a beautiful blend of the genre with great mechanics from other indie games like Terraria and Speklunky. Exploration is the theme of SteamWorld Dig as well as it’s primary motivation. Instead of making the player build and create, you’re enticed to explore and find the world for yourself rather than build it. Dig Dug meets Metroid... meets Motherload 0
Steamworld Dig is a short and concise adventure that focuses heavily on it's core risk reward gameplay loop. It's fun while it lasts, but lack of a New Game+ mode or any other semblance of post game content makes it feel like half a package.For my full thoughts, click here for the video review....

Fun, Relaxing Digging Game 0
Steamworld Dig is a mining game with platform elements and cute robot characters. It’s challenging in a few parts – I found myself quitting after being crushed by falling rocks.
