He has them and needs them, he doesn't really have any combos. 

Twelve! Granted, I just started playing the game yesterday and I'm really not that good. I've also been using Q a lot. 

I'm sticking to the guys I know for now, so Ryu and Ken for me. I'm not familiar with the other characters so I have to do some digging and see who I resonate with.

Ken I;ve never played S3 before and I liked his colors and Third Super seriously my reasoning behind him. I wana mess around with Hugo just becasue he will be in SFxT,

Everyone knows that Ryu and Ken are the only cool characters in all Street Fighter games.

it's funny, there is no votes for necro or Alex yet those are two of the characters I see the most. 

Mainly Ken SA1... b/c people like jumping into it or I like quickly comboing a close fireball into the SA, same goes for Ryu(SA1)

Yun, because I think it is fun to mess around. I stick with Genei-Jin, but Im not good enough to create any madness out of it

When I'm feeling like doing something weird I pick Q, and just hit buttons.

Well you can do that with SA3 and not worry about damage scaling as much, it's much easier to confirm from different attacks, and is less open to punishment.

Ken, Yang, Q. SA3, SA2, SA2/3 respectively. 
 
Though I "main" Ken, so I voted Ken.  
 
EDIT: @ThePhantomnaut: plus, you can parry those really easily (well...easily if you put enough time, lol) and then you're gonna get fucked up. AA in this game is more complex than SA's and dps. 

Makoto, dabble in some Necro and Dudley.

Right now I'm playing a lot of Elena. Though I am perfectly comfortable playing the shotos.

Wow lots of Elena love...? I never took to her, but Hugo likes to give her hugs.

Some times I kind of feel bad taunting people for the boost. 

I picked up Urien as well, I learnt SFIV at first by playing charge characters so I'm already used to a lot of the charging techniques so I can do all of his vicious corner combos quite easily.
 
Would love to see Urien put in SFIV, Seth already has a few of his normal attacks which is quite funny. I wonder how Aegis Reflector could work on IV.

Ibuki! On the scene!

Q- SA 1.

I started with Ibuki because ninjas are cool, but then I just couldn't get the hang of how and when to use all her moves. So, instead, I just played every character a couple of times to see who I liked best. Turns out it was Yang.

Really good choice. EX slashes will be your best friend.

I've been trying to learn Dudley using SA2. I haven't played any Street Fighter since The New Challengers on the SNES, so it's taking a lot of getting used to. I'll play with Yang sometimes too.

@TechHits: Well, he is a very powerful and newbie friendly character.

Started out as Ken too myself, but has since been trying to learn Urien, so I play as him now.

Corkscrew Blow is more powerful and reliable.

I'm kinda shocked at the lack of Yun players, I wonder if it is just the negative sigma that comes with playing him?

I like playing as the Twins. Just to change it up from playing with my regulars.

After getting my new fightstick, I did some random selects and really started playing with Dudley and some Sean, so I'll see where this goes,

@TechHits: Yun's pretty hard to play. With his low stamina and all, plus his defense is pretty weak. But if you master Yun, you are instantly godlike with those awesome Genei-Jin combos.

As for me, I'm going to play the "Bee-otch!"
