Where's my True Ogre!?

Reminds me of the epic Tekken 3 playsession I had with my friend in high school, Ogre vs. True Ogre. We ended tied at 77-77 wins. I wish I could still play fighting games like that.

Great! they went with Ogre instead of True Ogre that character is a piece of garbage, Im still bitter because that's the one they choosed for Tekken Tag 2.

Super Street Fighter 4 AE 2012 has 39 characters.

Excluding the exclusive PS3 characters, that's one more than Street Fighter x Tekken's 38.

Considering the fact that basically every character lupinko teased has been confirmed, I'd say she's in.

@WebOfSomething: I hope so. I'm still getting the game regardless, but the inclusion of Elena makes it a day 1 buy for me. No Elena just means I'll probably put off buying it for a while.

The ESRB posting stated "one wobbly character uses “drunken” fighting moves" . Pretty much confirmed to me.

And here I thought that the over-saturated guest characters (one of them being a Mega Man that's a slap to the face to Mega Man fans) and overused SFII characters would be enough to piss off fans for Capcom. You can edit character colors, and I suppose the gem system counts, too, but that's about it.

Looks like there's only 18 characters (just read that it's actually 38 - awesome)...

SSF4 had near 40 and was just about perfectly balanced, so I wouldn't worry.

As far as Akuma and penises are concerned, I was simply using a hyperbolic (using hyperbole; exaggeration) statement to show how ridiculous your reaction to Akuma was i.e. the only reason one would have such a vehement loathing for a character would be if one had experienced a deep-seated emotional trauma at the hands of said character. A troll makes bold, declarative statements meant to incite anger, frustration, and argument regardless of their own personal beliefs for the soul purpose of wasting the time of others. I mentioned the possibility of trollery on your behalf because that's exactly what your initial statement about Akuma seems to be, as it's hard to imagine that a rational person could genuinely have feelings so strong about a character from a video game. My Akuma/penis comment, however, does not fall in the category of trolling as it was a deliberate exaggeration made as a counter argument to the implausibility of your initial statement.

And just because I (like Capcom and unlike you) have a sense of humor, it does not necessarily mean I fantasize about fat guys in jump suits.

For the record I don't think this game is going to be very good.
