    Super Mario Galaxy 2

    Game » consists of 10 releases. Released May 23, 2010

    The first Mario sequel in over 15 years to appear on the same console as its predecessor, Mario is back in the galactic platforming game, joined by Yoshi as he explores additional planets with new mechanics, power-ups, and boss battles.

    I wish I could play this game in 3D.

     I'm soo gonna get flamed for this, but I really do.
    I think of all the major current-gen games, Super Mario Galaxy 2 lends itself most to current 3D technology - Most of the important stuff is happening more to the front of the screen, there are lots of dives and speedy flights, lots of little particles and enemies, and you have to have a good eye for where exactly Mario is at any moment and where you want him to land.

      Current 3D technology does not have a very wide range or depth, but shines 1m behind and 1m in front of the screen. Playing Super Mario Galaxy 2, I feel that there are A LOT of scenes where the effect would be really, really cool, really atmospheric or helpful to the gameplay. Its a shame that I can't try it out. : /

    That would be quite an experience indeed. It will probably also make quite a bit of people throw up seeing how some people are already having trouble with it now. I'm all for it.

    I'm somewhat indifferent to the whole 3D craze, but If one game should have 3D vision enabled, my pick would without a doubt go to the Super Mario games.

    <Insert 3D hate here>

    And that's all I have to say about that.

    Yeah I can see that being cool. I definitely agree with Ryan's comment on the bombcast that it would be awesome in HD.

    I'd actually like that. The only problem in my case is that I already wear glasses, and if I had to put 3D glasses over mine, it would not be particularly great.

    You know, maybe when the 3DS comes, there will be a Mario game that does something along those lines.

    You can bet on Nintendo making 3D Mario games in the future.
