My Play N Trade has a SNES Mini for $30, so I'm thinking of buying that. I made a wish list, but only put Nintendo published titles in it.

    Breath of Fire

    Breath of Fire II

    Donkey Kong Country

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest

Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble

    EarthBound (Someday...)

    F-Zero

    Killer Instinct

    Kirby’s Avalanche

    Kirby’s Dream Course

    Kirby Super Star

    Mega Man X

    Mega Man X2

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

    Pilotwings

    SimCity

    Star Fox

    Super Mario All-Stars

    Super Mario Kart

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

    Super Mario World

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island

    Super Metroid

    Super Punch Out!!

    Tetris Attack

Any other games I should get?

This is a pretty good list, I have most of these games and they're fantastic. ChronoTrigger is one of the best SNES games ever as well.

My only issue is I don't know if you realize how prohibitively expensive this would be. I have lots of these games because I've collected them since the snes came out but trying to get all these games now (especially the RPGs) is going to be quite the money sink. If you only want a couple and not all of them then that makes more sense.

Also take a look at street fighter 2: turbo, mortal Kombat 2, contra 3 alien wars and Nba jam te.

Killer Instinct on SNES isn't that great.

Get Super Street Fighter 2 instead. I remember that game being alright.

And maybe Chrono Trigger if you haven't played one of it's many re-releases by now.

Otherwise the list you have compiled already seems fine.

Not sure it's considered "good". But we used to play a lot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Tournament Fighter back in college.

Both the Castlevania games are good too (hard as balls, at times, but good)

Also (as a side note), I'm currently re-playing Legend Of Zelda on the snes.....and that's still great. You will have fun with that.

Final Fantasy "III" is so GDLK on SNES.

Also maybe Maximum Carnage, not necessarily for its gameplay but... red cartridge!

Terranigma is a fantastic Action JRPG. Good luck finding a copy though as it only came out in Europe, Australia and Japan.

Uniracers is a really cool Unicycle racing game.

Super Fire Pro Wrestling Special is the best wrestling game ever made and the first game Suda51 ever wrote.

That's a good list. You've already covered pretty much all the staples. These are entirely personal opinions but I suggest looking into...

    • Secret of Mana
    • Contra III
    • UN Squadron
    • Zombies Ate My Neighbors
    • Cool Spot

I probably played more hours of Aerobiz than of any other game on the system, and I finished both SNES Final Fantasy games with 80 hours plus on each.

Also, they're both already on your list, but Link to the Past and Super Metroid are the best games in each of those series, and anyone who says otherwise is either lying to you or lying to themselves.

You have to play Earthbound if you have any interest in it. It is THE game to play on SNES.

@cappak: Turbo is a faster version of Champion Edition, which added Sagat, Balrog, Vega and M Bison as playable characters and allows mirror matches along with a variety of balance changes. It's just straight up better than the original SF2: World Warriors.

Tetris Battle Gaiden is a game you are missing.

I'll throw in a few of my favorites. These may be a bit tough to find, but they're worth it if you can find them:

    • Sunset Riders (awesome western-themed side-scrolling shooter by Konami)
    • TMNT IV: Turtles in Time (excellent arcade port)
    • StarFox
    • Metal Warriors (side-scrolling action game w/mechs and an amazing vs. mode that is a precursor to Smash Bros.)
    • Demon's Crest (excellent pseudo-sequel to Gargoyle's Quest starring Firebrand from Ghouls 'n Ghosts series)

Illusion of Gaia if you can find it. Its right up there with Secret of Mana for me. Arguably better.

EVO: Search for Eden, I rented and remember being really unique. Didn't spend much time with it, but it was one of a kind.

Earthworm Jim is good (but I understand the Genesis version was better).

Sim City on the SNES was a very good version of that game. I put a ton of time into that as a kid.

    The Lost Vikings is awesome.

I think you've covered all the obvious ones, that's a pretty comprehensive list!

EDIT: Clay Fighter is worth checking out too.
