Still crazy that she's almost top, plus Ibuki is up there too. I think people are just picking characters they like not the ones they actually play as.

I was ok at this game until I picked Sagat which improved my game quite a bit, he's probably a bit cheap but he works for me :)

Sagat isn't cheap at all; don't worry.

It's actually pretty rare finding a decent Sagat. He plays to rigidly that you have to be totally on-point (though, I've seen some people rush-down with him), otherwise you'll get picked apart.

Even when Sagat was considered top tier in SF4 I didn't play him because I don't like the way he plays. If your good with him then go for it.

If by lame you mean shoot fireballs from the other side of the screen, than.... you play the only kind of Sagat.

that is if my online escapades are a proper vertical slice of Sagat strategies. :P

so, who do you guys hate playing agaisnt the most?

Like when you see the vs screen, you go.. aw shit...(assuming the player you are fighting knows his shit)

For me, after playing AE alot.. I gotta say Ibuki scares me (keep in mind I play cody, so any rush-down scares me)

Oh yeah! haven't played Zangief in AE yet (no one has picked him where I played)
Used to haaate him in SSFIV though.. it sucks when you have spend 50 seconds zoning him out, one mistake and it's over.. so sad..

Really?that's pretty surprising, u play Rufus? all you gotta do is put the pressure on Cody before he does, and he cant do shit.
And after you've built up ex meter his frametraps are worthless, Cody frametraps < EX-Messiah.
It's one of cody's worst match-ups

Bison is a pain in the ARRRRSSSEEEEE for DeeJay so I don't really enjoy that match.

Dhalsim is DJ's hardest match by far by I have no quarrels playing that matchup even though I lose it 70% of the time, I have no problem getting beaten if the match was good. I sometimes will play 5 - 10 matches against someone in Ranked that was really good and go from 4000PP to 3200PP and I have no problem with that, as long as I am learning things along the way.

Right now it's the really good Guy players that are really a stress to fight. Been fighting one of the best (probably THE best) Guy players in the UK, AF0. You might of seen him in some UK tournaments. He's been whooping me up and down for days online but I don't mind because... I'm fighting such a high class Guy player so whatever I learn from him will help me out.

@Giacomito: I'm sure your right but I have trouble with Cody no matter who I'm using, I just end up sitting there blocking constant slides and the little walk forward punch thing.

Also his back MP or whatever it is seems to be great for stopping divekicks.

@Scooper: Yeah AF0 is probably the best Guy I've faced too.

@mubress: Yeah, Cody has pretty good footsies, but if they get too predictable with the slide Mk, just focus that. I know it happens to me alot when I get too excited with my crouch MK button =).

@Scooper: Yeah, Dhalsim is probably the hardest match up for Cody as well, Dhalsim can keep Cody out without even trying. But I dont mind it too much, I actually like playing dhalsim because it feels like I have to REALLY be on top of my game to figure out a way to get past his keep-away.

Yeah, also.. Yun scares me, can't wait for Home release of AE so I can get to the lab and figure out anti-yun tricks with cody =)

What the hell, Cammy is tied for the top spot? Well I picked Guile but I also like DeeJay.

Also I've never seen another fighting game that has such a wide spread of fighters used... the sign of a truly great fighter.

I quite liked the unbalanced nature of SFIV, sure everyone mashed uppercut and played Sagat, but it was kinda dangerous and exciting :p.

The only thing I'm not looking forward to is seeing 2/3rds of all matches on streams having Yun in them, because I find him a super boring character to watch.
