    Tanki X is a multiplayer tank vs tank action featuring fast-paced gameplay where players can customize their tanks with the futuristic hulls and turrets, and also tune the visual appearance of the machines.

    Tanki X is the successor to the Tanki Online game series. The original Tanki Online game was built using Flash. Tanki X builds on the original concept of the Tanki Online series, but expands on areas like the user interface which now includes separate areas for garage, chat and battle list.

    Chat servers have also been revamped. Chat rooms are now separated by server and then sub divided by topic. This modification was aimed at reducing the amount of general noise and to encourage members to chat in areas that they are specifically interested in.

    Game graphics were updated for Tanki X through the introduction of a more advanced game engine compare to the original Tanki Online game. Improvements include more complex maps, increased shadows, and higher detailed tank models. The improved gaming engine has also allowed for individual turret animations and detailed track animations that react to the terrain of the map rather than remaining on a flat plane.
