Hi again.Server guy here again, just quickly trying to see how much interest there would be in a Giant Bomb MvM server. We had planned to already have it up by now (I also do the other Giant Bomb servers), but ran into a bit of a pickle with Valve requiring 32 player slots for a 6 player game mode.

Basically, for $85, we can get four months of a dedicated MvM server (which would take us to the end of 2012). I'm already making large contributions to our other servers, so I'm wary of spending the full amount on this one myself.

If you have any interest in a high speed, dedicated East Coast US server (playable mostly by NA/EU players) for Giant Bomb and want to throw us $5, go to this link: Redacted

Id like to see one. Can't the server be hosted locally if we get a 6 man team together? Do we need to rent one?

Technically, yeah. That's a big hassle though and the 32 player requirement Valve is enforcing is a bit puzzling.

We're at $35. ($60 including my input). So we'd need another $25. Please don't give more than you're comfortable with though. A few dollars from each person and we'll be there in no time.

Also, I received his $5, so who knows haha.

@Rolyatkcinmai: Where is the server going to be located exactly? I was thinking about throwing up a server in Seattle in the next couple of weeks, possibly the first Friday of September, for me and my buddies to use, but I'd be happy to let the GB community use it seeing as A) it's only a 6 player mode at any given time and B) I won't be using it all that much with work and stuff. So maybe we could have an East Coast/London server as well?
