The game crashes at startup for EVERYONE. That includes you. We'll like have to wait for valve to get on the ball to fix this one.

This is a preemptive strike for the topics that I'm sure are on the way.

Edit: That grammatical error in the thread title is killing me. Is there any way of editing that?
Edit2: The error was fixed with another patch.

@Sitoxity: The patch was just released, you likely haven't downloaded it yet.

Yep, stuck at the loading screen. I guess I'll be getting a good nights sleep after all.

    Yep, mine crashes too.

Well, during the loading screen it went back to the frozen Valve logo and the mouse spinning in a circle, as if it was about to crash. Didn't get a hl2.exe has stopped working popup, and didn't sit there long enough to find out.

@Chaoskiller2000: Hey, at least you don't have to worry about any of those pesky patches messing up your game.

Game has been getting more and more unstable lately. Lately, every update seems to kill the game for a small handful of people. Valve really needs to get a lid on the TF2 problems. Weapons causing problems, this being a problem, that being a problem. Valve is pretty much making problems to solve problems at this point.

It's been that way since even before the WAR! Update. Game was completely stable before December 2009.

That's what happens to a program when you just add to it for years instead of writing a new one.

When TF2 came out it played fine on my  PC.  Now?  Choppy and it crashes after a map rotation or two

@SamDrugbringer: Sounds like a problem with your PC, considering a good bit of people can still run TF2 just fine.
