This is the first Genesis TMNT game. It is a port of the 1992 arcade game with new levels and a new story.
Mr. X and his powerful criminal syndicate have returned to the streets. Players take control of up to two of the four vigilantes, fighting their way through the hordes of punks once again, in one of the most acclaimed beat 'em up brawlers of all time.
A side-scrolling brawler and platformer based on the animated series of the same name (itself based on the Toxic Avenger movie series).
Wacky Races on the NES is a side-scroller instead of a racing game! Muttley has to run across the world to save Dick Dastardly.
Play as Arthur, Lancelot, or Percival in this strangely-named medieval side scrolling brawler from Capcom.
Set in prehistoric times, this side-scrolling platformer features the eponymous cavemen as they fight their way across various colorful levels. Also, there are cave babes.
D.D. Crew is an arcade beat 'em up by Sega.
A genre-defying tale of two toads' quest to rescue their kidnapped friends from the clenches of the Dark Queen. Where Frogger brought frogs to the forefront of videogaming, Battletoads taught children that toads weren't frogs and were here to kick some ass.
Taito's answer to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game starring color-coded puppet ninja kids. Fight your way through the forces of a cult determined to resurrect The Satan!
Final Fight is a classic beat-em-up game developed by Capcom featuring a memorable cast of characters, including Guy, Cody, and the first and only mustachioed ex-pro-wrestler turned mayor, Mike Haggar. Released for the CPS arcade system in 1989 and then ported to the SNES and other home systems.
A side-scrolling, hack & slash brawler, developed by Taito. It started as an Arcade game in 1987, then moved to home computers and consoles such as the C64 and TurboGrafx-16. Its robotic protagonists used varied combos and intricate finishing moves that helped give the brawler some depth.
A game credited, in part, with the popularity of the brawler genre in the arcade craze of the 1980s and 1990s.
Help Thomas save his girlfriend, Sylvia, as he battles minions and dragons over five side-scrolling, action packed levels, Kung-Fu style. Based on the Jackie Chan movie Wheels on Meals, Kung-Fu Master (Spartan X in Japan) is often credited for creating the beat 'em up genre.
Bucky O'Hare for arcades is based on the cartoon series and was developed by Konami.
