Rumor: Telltale Games Is Developing A The Walking Dead Game
Telletale is awesome. Looking forward to anything they do. Would be interesting to see them launch an original series too.
that would be kind of cool, but I want to see tell tale to put out unique "stuff" not "stuff" based on other "stuff"!
Er, this could be anything. Tons of stuff get the multi-media thing now, particular TV-comics. Two off the top of my head: Buffy and Heroes. Both of which would fit the TellTale style more, though I'd rather it was Th Walking Dead.
I'm from the UK and I don't think the shows has surfaced here yet, however I have read some of the paperbacks and they're certainly not bad.
More interested in something Jurassic park related though. The original film was brilliant as a spectacle even if the plot or characters weren't of the same grade. Would like to see what Tell tale have done, as I found the sequels to be far too familiar to be enjoyable.
NO!!!! Not Telltale, fuck them. I mean they make the best adventure games around but adventure games are so damn boring. I want this game to be a first person action game, very stylistic, story driven of course, we need good acting to make it good like the TV show, very gory combat. Also, it should be more stealth based, like it's very very difficult to survive if your not stealthy, BUT, even when you are trying to be silent and stay out of sight, there is a system in place like Left 4 Dead that spawns enemies at random spots along your way. But dont make it like dead space where the fear aspect comes solely from jump scares.
YES THIS IS POORLY WRITTEN I HAD TO WIRTE IT FAST MY COMP IS DYING.
I own the entire season 1 and all future episodes via Amazon for $5, which I still have to watch, but hopefully I will like it and be interested in the game!
um Brad about this news story
That picture is a pretty big spoiler especially for those who only watch the TV show. I don't know if the show is going to do that but still kinda sucks if you find out by reading a rumor that has nothing to do with the main story of the comic/ Tv show.

Walking Dead is recent in the TV world.
Could be hawt.
Tell Tale is really moving up in the world. I wonder what percentage of their audience is old-school gamers, and how many are recent converts. Even in the casual market, I don't feel that casuals have a good grasp on old-school adventure games.
" No, this is obviously in reference to the upcoming("just launched") Pushing Daisies comic based on the cancelled ABC series. It changes life as we know it because he can bring people/things back to life with a touch, but if he leaves them alive something/someone else dies. Actually, thinking about it, Telltale could probably make a pretty cool game based on Pushing Daisies, since the show was a detective show with a mystery that involved finding clues and talking to (dead) people. "Oh god, please let this be the case.
Also I didn't know there was going to be Pushing Daisies comic. So excite!

"Why do you think so many people are complaining about "another zombie game". What's the point of doing another action based, gruesome horror game when there are already so many on the market. Similarly to Jurassic Park, I think the best way to handle something like this is to keep it slow, make it feel like you're really in danger and having to use your surroundings and intelligence to survive.. you know, like most zombie movies? rather than just blowing everything apart with a shotgun like every other game in existence.
If you find adventure games boring, too bad for you. I'd take another 20 of these over yet another cover based third person shooter.
Oh man, I can't wait for this. The show is really good and Tell Tale makes awesome games. 88 zombies per magnum!
A line to that effect is actually on the back of the graphic novels. I am very hopeful.
