Amygdalans are the warriors and shadow knights that serve Cazic-Thule in the Plane of Fear. These terrifying beasts have the head of a nautilus and tower above even the tallest mortals.
These frightfully large ghouls patrol the Plane of Fear and have the ability to root players upon contact.
Enemies who don't fight fair or flee when they're running low on health. Examples include Boos from Super Mario and those pesky goblins from Dark Messiah.
These fearsome basilisks patrol the blood-soaked marshes of the Plane of Fear.
These tortured souls are zombies that shamble aimlessly throughout the Plane of Fear.
These reanimated hands scurry around the Plane of Fear instilling panic any intruders.
Gorgons are mythical female creatures known most notably for their hair of living snakes and ability to turn anyone into stone with their gaze. While the most famous depiction of a gorgon is Medusa, they have been depicted in various other ways in literature, film, and games.
The concept of affecting the universe through supernatural methods, breaking the fundamental laws of science.
The ability to influence and control the thoughts of others.
Sauron's most terrible servants. The Nine were once mortal men who one by one succumbed to the power of the One Ring.
Nightmares are foul horses from the netherworld that terrorize people in their dreams. Nightmares as creatures derrive from Germanic folklore (mare=spirit) and have since become popularized by the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop game (mare=female horse).
In EverQuest, phoboplasms are gelatinous cubes that absorb and digest anything in their path.
Anything that can be used to ward off hostile enemies and creatures, or prevent them from spawning within the area of effect.
These terrifying creatures have glowing jack-o-lanterns for heads and roam throughout the Plane of Fear.
These annoying imps will often swarm intruders to the Plane of Fear, causing confusion and often death.
Shiverbacks are fearsome gorillas that protect the Temple of Cazic-Thule. Some have been summoned to the Plane of Fear by The Faceless himself.
Spinechillers are horrifying, stark white spiders that have a propensity for sneaking up behind unwary intruders in the Plane of Fear.
A condition which affects a character's effectiveness, either positively or negatively. Common examples include Poison or Haste.
Tentacle Terrors, and Tentacle Tormentors, are monsters from the EverQuest franchise.
These floating evil eyes torment any magic users who are foolish enough to enter the Plane of Fear by sieving their mana. Less powerful versions can sometimes be encountered in Lavastorm Mountains and Erud's Crossing.
These disgusting, undead frogs that inhabit the Plane of Fear are more of a nuisance than a real threat to invaders of Cazic-Thule's realm. Warts from Turmoil Toads can inexplicably be used as throwing weapons.
The Undead is an umbrella term describing creatures that do not exhibit the key fundamental attributes that are associated with life, such as respiration, and blood circulation. They are divided into two main categories: Ethereal and Corporeal, depending on whether or not they have a body.
A dragon that has been resurrected after death. Undead Dragons are often weaker but more terrifying than their living counterparts.
These forsaken spirits are trapped in the Plane of Fear. They will attack any who intrude upon the realm of Cazic-Thule.
Wraith are apparitions clad in dark robes. They are often in possession of scythes, making them somewhat akin to Reapers. Some have magical abilities.
