I've googled around and not found any specifics of when the title can actually be run on the release date. The Nintendo Pre-load FAQ only says to try to run it on the release date to finish the install and make the game playable. Can you do this at midnight local time, PST, or some other weird thing?

I'm excited enough to finally play the game without waggle to wait even if I'm too old to stay up after midnight.

@beanswater: It'll probably be at 9 PM PST. Smash 4 and Captain Toad are the last digital games I pre-loaded and they both unlocked at 9 PM PST.
