The Legend Of Zelda: Collection, includes all the console Zelda games as well as many handheld Zelda games, on one single disc. The package also includes a Link figure, an ocarina and an artbook.

This is just a fan design by me. However the Link figure actually does exist. You can buy it from www.first4figures.com

How sweet would it be if this actually existed! I'd buy it for sure!

It would be awesome [if impossible] to have them all on one disc.

Did you do the Link mashup on the cover of the box yourself? It's pretty cool.

Your piece of art looks much better on a dvd box. I think it'd be even better though if you made the triforce in the background gold, if only slightly.

I thought I was slipping for a moment.

It would be great if Nintendo did provide such a collection one day on Wii, but given the fact that most are available on Virtual Console already, I think it's very unlikely. The sales of such a game would impact the sales of the downloadable games significantly.

I'm hoping the handheld games appear on the DSi as part of the Virtual Gameboy service down the line.

I don't know, Metroid Prime Trilogy fit on one disc, that's 2 fully featured GC games and one Wii title. Similar to having Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and one more game of that caliber on a single disc I suppose. The 2D Zeldas wouldn't be big at all, or the N64 ones, so they'd make up for the lack of that third GC quality game, but probably not exceed it. It's probably pretty possible, maybe even including Master Quest.

    According to my calculations:

    Zelda I                            128KB
    Zelda II                           256KB
    Link's Awakening         512KB
A Link to the Past         1MB
    Oracle of Ages              1MB
    Oracle of Seasons       1MB
    The Minish Cap            16MB
    Ocarina of Time            32MB
    Majora's Mask               32MB
    Phantom Hourglass    64MB
    Wind Waker                   1.35GB
    Twilight Princess(GC) 1.35GB

    Total:                  2.84GB  (2,912.675MB)

So, yea. They'd have plenty of room to spare.

Edit: Master Quest and OoT are the same size, so I didn't bother saying which it was.

Why? Unlike other games, Zelda games are made very efficiently, taking up very little space. With a Wii disc (8 GB's) you can put all of them multiple times.

@PureRok: Nice work on that.  But damn, you really think the Minish cap was that big?  Isnt that just a GBA game?
I doubt they would put the Twilight Princess into something like this, not when they can sell solo copies still at 50 bucks which sucks ass, that game should have gone down in price.

Anyway, fucking worst thread yet.  Teasing people like this.  Dont do this kind of shit.  Its a bitch move.

It'd be neat all right, too bad Nintendo want you to pay for each game individually. I'd also like them to open the Virtual Console for the DS, play some Zelda on there (Never played Seasons, only Ages). What are you up to, Nintendo?

I was confused when I saw that they used the same artwork for the box art as you posted in an earlier thread because I thought you'd stolen it. Then I quickly realised you were just toying with us. Damn you!!

I could burn all the ROMs and ISOs onto a single disc, print that design onto the disc with my lightscribe drive, put it into a sleeve with that design there and ask one of the coders at GBAtemp to write a launcher app that has "Play!" buttons for each of these games in one nicely designed GUI.

The Wii homebrew scene has all the necessary tools to make this set a reality.

Do you have high res versions of the DVD and sleeve designs, Twilight?

And then sell it on the street for $15 a copy and make lots of money!
