The game is out today and none of the major gaming sites have put out a review, what gives?

Probably some embargo or something

well shit the Block Buster and Walmart near me both have it in, the only question I have is it worth buying or should I spend the money on a bag of chronic.

They were probably all embargoed because the scores were so low until a certain date.

Swearing about it isn't going to make the scores come out any quicker!

Screw the reviews, how about the game.  All the stores around me here in Canada still don't have it.  What's the point of a release date anyway?  To me it's the day I have to start calling every store in the area twice a day everyday until I find it.

There's no such thing as embargo once the game is available to the public.

So far, IGN gave it a 7/10, and Official Xbox Magazine gave it a 4/10.

Games that are terrible or score less than the embargo-breaker are usually limited to coming out the day before or the day that the game actually releases. Given that this game is utter tripe, I'm sure it's no exception.

It's possible that EA didn't send out review copies, so nobody had a review ready in advance. That would mean they're all starting the game now, and it'll take a couple days for reviews.

It isn't a major game. Check OXM, they did a review.

Because it sucks. It has GOTY potential but fucking EA keeps rushing the publishers, so their games seem like betas lately (Mirror's Edge, Need for Speed: Undercover, The Lord of the Rings Conquest, Mercenaries 2).

Redundant gameplay isn't helped by fairly unimaginative design. This game could have been much more had it expanded on the established formula to push the franchise in fun, new directions.
