Looks like they won't be getting the licenses renewed on any table made by Bally or Williams. The deal is set to expire on June 30, 2018. The Switch version of the game will be re-released but with any tables under this license removed. Link to their Facebook page if you want to read the whole statement for yourself.

The Pinball Arcade on Switch was reposted to the eShop on Switch today, and all the Williams and Bally tables are been removed from purchase.

I also wonder what the prospects are of getting licenses from other manufacturers, namely Jersey Jack. Farsight also released Stern Pinball Arcade, which was supposed to have more of a focus on Stern tables only. The weird thing is a few of those tables from that game also made their way over to Pinball Arcade, with Harledy Davidson and Ghostbusters Premium as examples. Jersey Jack has been at the forefront of modern pinball design, but I can only imagine the cost of getting those licenses.

Damn, that is a shame. Hopefully they can get it back some day. I wonder why Williams refused to renew?
