    It's bloody genious how CD Projekt RED uses Bright Lights and Dark Shadows instead of Fog (and whatever other graphical trickery there is in use out there) to mask limited drawing distance enabling their nigh-seamlessly streaming extreme high detail world. Haven't seen anything quite like it in other games.
     
    Might it be that the console version will turn out prettier and smoother running than we can imagine, because CDPR are really good at masking technical limitations? The game's so darn pretty and running super smooth, but there's really lots of trickery going on. Just make that light a little brighter and those shadows a little darker, take lower-rez textures and that thing might actually run on current day consoles without looking vastly inferior.
