I'm new so sorry if I'm breaking an forum etiquette. I just finished "To the Moon" and loved it! Its a few years old though so I don't know if it was ever discussed on the podcast. Anyone know/ be able to point me in the right direction if it was?

I don't think the GB crew discussed it when it came out, but Alex talks about it a little in his Bird Story Quick Look if I remember correctly.

Alex was the only one who played it, I think. He did briefly talk about it on the GOTY podcasts the year it came out (best story I'd think). Shame it wasn't a longer talk, I liked this game a lot.

@knellmoray: @redhotchilimist: I actually recorded a 2 hour long spoilercast with a few buddies on To The Moon if you'd like to hear some people talking about it in depth. While we aren't exactly the bombcrew, we do go all the way the game's story and themes.

I love that game, and I often whistle songs from the game since I get them stuck in my head. Great soundtrack.

@monetarydread: The game has a lot of great themes and narrative devices to discuss and it definitely takes longer than 45 minutes to play through .

@knellmoray To the Moon actually won our podcast soundtrack of the year oddly enough. We picked from the games we played during the year, not just games that came out in 2015.

@monetarydread I think my play time came in at 4/5 hrs and the topics this game tackles are really engrossing. Trust me there is plenty to discuss here.

I started Deep Listens because I have a lot of great games in my back log that I found myself not playing because I wanted to discuss them with people more than I wanted to play them. To The Moon was actually one of the games that made me want to create a spoiler filled podcast in the first place. Glad you enjoyed the episode.
