I thought this was a Joke, in the UK at least we have a major haircare brand called Tresseme or something to that effect, time for Triple H to dust off the old hair cut so we can judge video games again.

Cloud's hair is meant to look like that, it's a metaphor for the hard decisions and violent actions that he must undertake throughout the game. It also looks like his sword, the instrument through which he effects change in his world. He is, as he comes to realise, just as manufactured as the weapon he carries.

For some reason, I just love the fact that we can have a metric with a "Standard Hair" delineation.

As little as this may seem it's these things that are going to make next gen stuff look better. With things like better hair, lighting, and shadows it really adds up. I'm excited to try it when the game comes out.

Oh man, my biggest issue in all of the videos has been her weird foxtail-looking ponytail. That looks much, much better. I'd totally play the PC version but my new PC is a couple of months off and I wanna play it now... oh well.

Soooo.... this looks pretty sharp. Would it be strange if I decided to get this on PC instead of PS3 (playstation just seems like the platform for Tomb Raider to me) just because of this hair effect?

Somehow that looks faker then the hair we have now. I know it's better but the movement is off. Like @Jams said, it looks like the hair is under water.

Just to be clear, that youtube video =/= TressFx. Looks like some people are getting that confused.

You would hope people would have seen 'nvidia' in the video and 'amd' in the thread title. Maybe they didn't though.
