So Jeff retweeted something @BrendanSinclair posted on Twitter "Dear game industry: Just cut to the chase and make that AAA spiritual successor to Toobin' already"

This got me thinking about what a modern Toobin' sequel would look like and I came up with the following concept:

    The Toobin'

In The Toobin', the reboot of the popular arcade classic, you'll take control of Bif or Jet in this co-op 3rd person, coverbased shooter action-adventure, as they blast hordes of river-based terrorist organizations. Defeat the villainous Flotsam Empire.

*Inch your way forward on land from cover to cover or jump on your T.O.O.B (Terrorist Obliterator Of Badass-ness) and into the water.

*Exciting Quick Time Events has you on the edge of your seat as you watch Bif and Jet toob their way down dangerous rivers

*Bif and Jet both are heavily armed with assault rifles and special can-like grenades

*Online level-based multiplayer where you can unlock better weapons, cans, T.O.O.Bs and sunglasses.

    *DLC planned for additional sunglasses

*"Better with Kinect" - Capture pictures of you and your friends Toobin' it to the max.

*The best part is that you can share your Toobular snapshots on Facebook

*Pre-order at Gamestop to recieve an EXCLUSIVE The Toobin' river tube (Not waterproof, do not use in actual water)

Anyone have any ideas to further flesh out the rich, compelling universe of this Toobin' reboot? Concept art? Gameplay mechanics?

I played Toobin' all the time at the arcade near where I had my first job.

    I would buy this.

@DarkbeatDK: you've put a lot of thought into this, i commend your efforts.

I want the Wii-U version with the vitality sensor so the game can tell you're hip deep in cold water as you play.

@jadeskye: A Wii-U version would be an excellent idea. I was thinking that there could just be an image of some rad sunglasses on the controller display at all times.

That's a great name for the sequel to this game: "The 2bin'"
