In the past we had Drew and Austin who were the biggest Total War fans, but even they were fair weather fans at best and there wasn't a whole lot of coverage. Given that no one else on staff is much of an RTS gamer outside of Starcraft, do you think Giant Bomb will probably give this a miss entirely?

Vinny might poke at it a little bit on a playdate as a Warhammer fan.

Ideally we need a Austin cameo for the The Fog of Warhammer part 2.

I could definitely see Vinny doing a QL (or a "not technically a QL" stream like he did with TW:WH1).

Would they even be able to tell what features are new, with the exceptions of new races and campaign map?

And Vinny has already so much on his plate that no one else on the staff would play (like Divinity:OS2)

Anyway I feel like there is already plenty of TW:WH2 coverage on youtube/twitch since the streamers and independent critics have already received and are able to show their early impressions.

Sigh, they really need to get some new Austin adjacent talent that at least has the interest/time to play the deep RPGs and/or strategy games.

I doubt GB will touch it outside of a passing mention on the BeastCast.

Aside from other streamers covering it I'm willing to bet that Three Moves Ahead will do a pretty podcast about it. They did a decent podcast recently about what's been happening and changed in Total War: Warhammer since release. It's worth a listen if you're into that sort of thing.

Would like to see Vinny at least give it a go in a GBE playdate but I'm probably dreaming. This is the kind of game made for a youtube streaming niche.
