The player character, named by the player after completing the first Mission "Chaos in the Deep" in Honkai: Star Rail. in the form of a male (Caelus) or female (Stelle) young human with grey hair, white t-shirt, and matching jacket and pants that's black with gold trim.
Initially, the Trailblazer follows the Path of Destruction, wielding a baseball bat embedded with light that can hit multiple targets. When facing off against Cocolia later in the story, the Trailblazer gains the option of following the Path of Preservation, replacing their weapon with a flaming spear and giving them a defensive skill that can taunt enemies into attacking them to charge up a special meter to unleash a more powerful fire attack.
