    A level or sequence of a game where the player may only observe the game world passing by. Usually taking place on a vehicle, such a level may introduce a player to an environment, or indicate transition from one area of a game to a contrasting one.

    Half-Life has a travel section at the very beginning of the game. In it the player is in a monorail car on his way to his department in Black Mesa Research Facility. During this section player may freely move around the car and see sections of the facility while credits are shown.

    Far Cry 2 has a driving section at the beginning of the game in which the player is sitting in co-driver's seat and may look around while the driver gives some backstory for the player on his way from a airport to his hotel.

    In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim at the beginning player character is sitting in a carriage on his way to his execution with a bunch of Nord rebels.

    In Rage player has a short walking section after which game has a driving sequence in which player is seated in co-driver's seat and may observe his surroundings while friendly character tells him some backstory of the game world.
