@durden77: Nope. Any video or link posted has to be accompanied by a paragraph or so to incite discussion. There's no designated way to simply dump links, though a dedicated thread has been suggested and attempted several times.

Basically, the judgement is: "If you just want to share internet media, do it elsewhere." Kind of a bummer sometimes, but I'm willing to lose the handful of good link threads along with the thousands of rotten.

If it's not your video, they typically like to have a paragraph or two of text to promote discussion of the video and / or topic. Lastly, official trailers and gameplay videos are typically exempt from those rules.

Kind of covered by the other users, but here on the Giant Bomb forums we want to try and keep constructive discussion flowing as well as possible. For this reason we ask that anyone who adds a link or embedded content to their thread, also adds at least one or two paragraphs of text, written in a way that will incite discussion. Thank you.
