Newcomers and veterans rejoice; Undisputed is back 0

After taking a break from the franchise to avoid the dreaded annual fatigue, UFC Undisputed is back and ready to step into the Octagon for its hard-hitting third instalment. With the superb EA MMA comfortably filling the gap in its absence,Undisputed has returned to reclaim its crown, adding meaningful improvements to multiple areas that elevate its already solid rendition of the brutal sport of Mixed Martial Arts. It’s evolution over revolution, but it hits harder than ever.Hits are brutalNewcom...

Smart fixes and overhauls make this the best UFC game to date. 0

I bought UFC 2010 when it came out and almost immediately dropped it.You know why I dropped it? Deteriorating stats. Because no.I'm fine with some stat management. Picking what thing I want to dump points into over another, for instance. But if once I've dumped those points I start losing them over time then you lose me.I play these games for the fights! Not to crunch numbers.I will say out of the game that this is something Undisputed 3 has fixed.Stats no longer deteriorate over time. You can l...

UFC took some time off, but now it's back and better than ever. 0

Before I start this review, I have to say I’m not the biggest follower of the UFC sport. I watch a few matches here and there, but I am certainly no hardcore fan who sits down with a bucket of popcorn every three weeks to watch the largest mixed martial arts (MMA) company in the world. That said, I have enjoyed the past two UFC games, just for the fact that they seemed to represent the sport wonderfully. THQ took a break after UFC Undisputed 2010, mainly because the franchise didn’t seem to be s...

    The MMA Champ returns 0

UFC Undisputed 3 is the third game in the new series, and returns after a two-year break. During that extra time, Yukes had many fighters come into their studio, helping to improve animation and really capture the feel of individual fighters. With more fighters, modes, and options than ever, Undisputed 3 is ready to be the best in MMA games once again. Are you ready? Let's get it on, Cmon!I've enjoyed the past UFC games, and have dabbled with the online modes, but usually tend to stick to the car...

    Far More Newbie Friendly 0

I like UFC a lot, but I was unable to wrap my brain around the control system in the first two UFC Undisputed titles. I do not dispute (*rim shot*) that the title was excellent, but I was so terrible at the ground controls that if the PC managed to take me down, it was basically "Hold on until the round is over". I can't really fault the control as plenty of others figured it out, but it never once clicked with me.THQ fixed that with this. They offer a far more simplified ground control system i...
