The third main installment of the fast-paced arena-based first-person shooter brings its futuristic world to the Unreal Engine 3 game engine while adding a grimy aesthetic and a new story-based single-player campaign (involving a crew of mercenaries set out to avenge their fallen colony against the Necris).
I did when I bought it the first week, then the next weekend I signed on and there were only 6 human players available scattered between several games, at that pointed I decided to return to UT2k4. Epic really left that franchise out to die.
" Regardless of where you buy you eventually add it to Steam with all its benefits since the last major update did that change.Anyway, think he's decided by now. "
Who says he's bought it yet? Just offering some advice.

" Was wondering if people played UT3 online. "
I think UT3 still offers a fresh online experience as it taps into the arena-shooter multiplayer roots. It offers great, super fast twitch play.
There are people who regularly and consistently play online and that community is tight so i dont think its going to die anytime soon. Although that community is small, so finding games of specific maps and gametypes can be a pain (unless you like playing against bots). But if you're not to picky about maps finding games will be easy.
