I played this in the arcade, it's just trashy fun Afterburner.
 
It's the one game I remember as a kid, this is a day-one purchase for me.

Yeah seriously, this name just sets its self up for hilarious jokes.

I just had a flashback of playing  After Burner on Sega Master System when I was 8 or 9.    If the price is right I will buy. 

Soooooo many childhood memories!  If the price is right I will definitely get it!

looks really nice, I hope the controls are smooth.

Climax is very good. I wanted to play it on a console for a very long time so it's great to see finaly make it here. If you like After Burner definitely get this. Also the framerate is very crazy.

If there's one thing I can say for modern-day Sega it's that I've never seen a company with such a consistent style for almost every single one of their games, even if they're completely unrelated. You can always tell a Sega game just by looking at it. It's pretty awesome, really.

For a $10 netwok game, sure.  If it's any more than that, no way.
 
That last bit where he locked-on to a big group made me wish they would just make another Panzer Dragoon game already.  At this point I'd take a straight remake of the first game, I gave up long ago on another Azel.

Not interested.  I sank many a quarter into the original more than a decade ago, and half the fun was sitting in the mobile cockpit jamming on the flight-stick and throttle.  Without that interface, this game doesn't hold up for me as just a pure arcade experience.

Without the tilting cockpit this game is NOTHING.

"Climax" is the new "Extreme."

Man, this game would be so much better in 3D. Specifically the arcade version with the tilting seat.
