looks like what Blitz should have been a while ago to me, I'm super interested.

As someone who has no interest in Football games i actually have my eye on this one as a big fan of the Euphoria animation engine.

I remember seeing this about 3/4 years ago before or just after GTA4 came out

I'm sure as hell way more interested in this game than in any Madden iteration.

graphics looks sub-par 
and some animation looks odd 
but man did they do a great job with the tackling? jesus.

I'm gonna get it simply cause no one else will. I'll go find it in the trade-in section. :D
 
Edit: On re-watching I noticed the tackling animations are AWESOME. Didn't notice the first time but i guess thats cause it looked real enough for me to not notice anything odd.

I'll check it out at some point. Looks interesting.

This is why I laughed soooo hard at that stupid Madden "advanced" animation video they put out. It still looked jumpy, fake, and glitchy, while this was shown off ages ago and has had FAR superior animations this whole time. Probably one of the best uses of this engine in a game. That and like a fighting game maybe.

I thought this is a follow-up to Facebreaker.

Is this game ever going to come out? We seem to just get these short trailers once a year. Euphoria was cool back in 08. Now unless then been tweaking it each year, it might seem pretty normal considering alot of games now use it.

Looks better then madden but that isn't hard to do.

I look forward to playing a demo

Oooh. Using Euphoria. That'll make for some good animation.
 
Edit: Actually, the whole game is by NaturalMotion, who produce Euphoria. All of their football demos make more sense now.

As much as I hate Madden, I love the NFL and it feels like I HAVE to get it.  I just wish 2k could make NFL games again, I think we say this every year though.

The naysayers haven't even seen the game in action yet. If all Football is to you is player likenesses, you're not fans of the game; you're fans of the celebrities.

You'd think a game named Backbreaker would try to be something a little more than an accurate representation of NFL hits
