Bradley May Cry: Part 01

DMC and banter between Vinny and Brad, this might just be my new favorite feature.

I liked when it turned into Breaking Brad.

DMC3 is still one of my favorite games of the last decade. I hope they'll get around to playing it.

It's really weird, but I can totally see this as Kamiya's RE4. He took those ideas to Bayonetta and refined them to a polish. Amazing.

Also, I miss Alastor.

Really enjoyed this, I'd love if Brad & Vinny slogged through all three games in their entirety (or I guess played each until they were sick of them).

For the love of God, skip DMC2.

Great stuff guys, keep it up! And good job to Brad on that Virgil fight. I really hope they don't play dmc 2 because I know that's going to sour Brad on playing 3, which is definitely the best in the series.

The discovery of who Nelo Angelo is blew my mind when I was younger.

Really enjoyed this; can't wait for more!

I can't watch brad play video games, he misses HUGELY obvious things all the time.

I hope they play co-op in DMC3 once they unlock Doppelganger in Devil May Cry 3.

Can anyone find some of these other videos Vinny is talking about? I found Boss of Bossess, but not sure about the HSN and the lost smoke monster one.

The BETA chat was really great when this was live. Everyone was surprised when he killed the fire spider, but we felt like everything was right with the world when he lost to the shadow monster inside the lion statue. The Vergil fight actually had me yelling at the computer. That hasn't happened since the Chrono Trigger ER.

I say skip DMC2 and play all of DMC3.

Man, this game is even dumber than I remember, and I remember it being wicked dumb. Time to fill my dark soul... WITH LIGHT!

I've been playing the HD collection during the wait for DmC PC and man, I really wish I hadn't played DMC1 and just let my memories of it stand.

At least DMC3 was still awesome.

I really liked this feature, it was much more positive than I thought it would be. Devil May Cry is a great game, so I hope they see it, and maybe even the sequels, all the way through. Yeah, its style is a little silly at times, but I think it's self-aware enough that rather than being obnoxious, it's charming. Endearing, even.

The first DMC wasn't really self aware; it was just cheesy. Still a great action game, though!

Man I loved the first DMC back in the day, so I'm looking forward to this.

I think it was also one of the first punishingly hard videogames I completed.

DmC is definitely better than DMC1 hands down. I mean I don't know about you guys but I don't equate fast and fun combat with fixed camera angles.

Also, way too easy to get an A rank in that first DMC game..

I think all of these DmC games are pretty garbage, but I do think the old Dante looks wayyyy better than the new one, which just seemed like them trying to be different.

I like how Brad is so cocky at the beginning about getting that 'A', and how it melts away once he realizes what he's getting himself into. This is gonna be good fun. I can't wait to see the next installment.

You know, for a 12 year old game this holds up amazingly well.

This is an awesome feature, by the way. This is the only other Breaking Brad where I really, really want Brad to win. CoD4 being the other.

You know what? I respect Brad a hell of a lot for, even if he didn't like the audience reaction to his DmC review, understanding it enough to go back and actually publicly play the previous games and see if he really was missing anything. Sure, the whole ordeal left much to be desired, but anything that shows Giant Bomb is capable of being reactive to its audience is a good thing in my view.

Yeah, I can't play games with someone else in the room, let alone in that environment. People are different.

Aw shut up. He played pretty well in this feature. If you played this game, you died too against Nelo Angelo. And you probably didn't beat the lava spider on your first try.

That was great fun to watch! Vinny got sooooo excited at the end! =D

What error? Let's asume your opinion is fact and DMC1 and 3 are better than DmC. What would be the error still? DmC can still be an amazing game even if previous games were better.

Comments like yours... I really wonder whether you think you're right or just want to be right.

That will be easier than Nelo Angelo since DMC 3 HD is the Special Edition where Normal difficulty is actually Normal, not really Hard like the original release. And in Gold Orb mode Brad will have infinite continues.

I played through castlevania twice. I thought it was rad.

You know, I remember playing this game when it came out and remember it being pretty creepy/scary. Hopefully I'm not the only one.

Was awesome to watch this, especially live! And I'm certainly no DMC-fan, but I can't wait to (hopefully) see more of Bradley May Cry!
