Those tire screeches are still the same, huh? I hope the engines sound better but I really don't expect it anymore. Rough aliasing, shadows, and reflections too. God, will it look even worse in PSVR? Maybe it looks relatively unimpressive because of a 60 fps target and wont need to downgrade for the headset?

Something about seeing all the different nationalities coming together for something they love, be it soccer, fighting games, racing, whatever, just gets me in the heart. So cool.

I'm ruined after Driveclub.... that game was fantastic. Take that engine and get some simulation physics in there.

That's all fine and dandy but I just want to know if they still have the archaic unlock system for all the cars. I hated being gated in GT5 and never played 6. If I can't drive any car I want at any time, similar to Forza, I'll pass and just give up on GT games.

I haven't played a racing game all generation. As long as it has a single player mode with decent progression, I'm all in.

That Mustang in rally kit irks me, also why would you design a trophy that you have to hold upside down to show the logos? That all said, I want to inject this into my veins.

Surely I can't be the only one that is actually rather excited about the fact that going forward, simulated racing championships are going to more than ever be a thing? And with official sponsorship from the FIA too. This is a few steps above just "obligatory e-sports" I'd like to think. Formal competitive racing has always had this sort of blockade to entry, because of the expenses that need to be covered. Having the tagline "Racing is for everyone" really does represent what it seems GT Sport is setting out to do. It's really commendable. I've got tears in my eyes just thinking about it, really ^_^

@jazzylament: The GT championchips have already been a thing really. They've had GT Academy for awhile now. And some of those winners have actually turned out to be pretty decent drivers irl.

At the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Lucas Ordoñez finished second in the LM P2 category in 2011 and in 2013 finished third alongside Jann Mardenborough (2011 European winner).

GT has always been in support for these kinds of things and making it even more by actually giving them real life chances.
