E3 2018: This Narrator Throws Dark in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

Hey was there something missing from the Square conference???? Can't put my finger on it.........

Sounds like the little mustached man says 'It's time to clean your butt right'. Also was that music kick in supposed to be a goof compared with the self serious anime narration? Whatever, looks good but also like a game not meant for me.

This is my most anticipated game.

Wait, are they Dragon Balls or Infinity Gems?

Can't say the trailer wowed me but I've heard so much good about this on the 8-4 Play podcast that I am interested to see how it is.

Look, I hate to be the one to point this out but...that's the Master Sword. Link's gonna be more than a little pissed off when he finds out these guys took off with it.

Is this game already out in Japan if so what's the combat like is it like heroes or is it tbs. it looks like a better heroes which was good but the focus on tower defense ish maps was awful no open world or rpg elements really in that game but it was a cute game

I was already very excited to play Dragon Quest XI and this trailer only made me more hyped.

@steveurkel: It is a turn-based RPG like most of the mainline Dragon Quest titles.

@yukeake: The sword is Loto's Sword from the first Dragon Quest, which was released in 86 and the Master Sword first showed up 6 years later in Link to the Past.
