E3 2021: Todd Howard Gives Us a Little More Background on Starfield

Very cool, but a little puzzling this less than two minute clip gave more info on what Starfield is than the presentation on Sunday.

I loved seeing the BTS b-roll, like the character design concepts being painted and the orchestra recording during pandemic restrictions. Very cool to see work like that in the process.

Why am I getting 'CD Projeckt Red teasing Cyberpunk' vibes from this?

@jsmoothjazz: BGS have been over promising and under delivering since before Witcher 1 came out. You are right to get those vibes!

The only real reason for SF and that other game (at the very end) were there was to stop the "but but but MS exclusive or not?" nonsense, and really no other reason (and that worked*).

* That said, I would not be surprised for the "but maybe ES6..." bs to continue on.

1) Because Bethesda was CDPR LOOOONG before CDPR got called to the mat for their bullshit. Bethesda has been releasing buggy, broken games since Skyrim. If it weren't for Bethesda's modding community and the tens of millions of dollars in FREE LABOR (not hyperbole) they put into fixing or creating content Bethesda's broken games...
