took a little while to get going, but man, the last half or so was great!, maybe do these a little more frequently, seems like they always start slow because ya'll forget the flow of things.

This was better, though the railroading was definitely a little much. Need to let those guys actually do the things they want to do and find a way to push them into it. For instance, if you watch the Game Trailers peeps playing this, Ben created a whole side thing just to get them back on course after they totally "botched" the cave from a story progression standpoint. I think taking this super seriously is just too big of a time suck for them as they are spread pretty thin.

I don't mean to sound like a big poopy head. It's great overall, I'll keep watching if they keep recording. I think it's getting better and if they can get on a monthly or better cadence it will probably continue to improve.

Dan throwing his sword at the end and Rorie saying it landed way up out of reach was fantastic. Need more of that "OK I'll allow it, but you'll probably fuck it up and pay for it and hope your buddies can bail you out of this crap position you've put them in.."

2nd half was great!

It's sad how every negative or critical comment has to be prefaced by a "i don't want to mean but" or "i love gb! but" for fear of being attacked. We all want all GB features to be good. Sometimes they should be canned in favour of higher quality stuff, sometimes they should be improved. I'd love to see this get good hence watching.

However I think this is garbage. Rorie's lack of preparation is totally killing the feature. 4 hours of character creation and the guys don't have complete character sheets in episode 3... don't know what weapons they have... I don't do any role play tabletop stuff and it's super frustrating to watch with the railroading. You want to do a feature, put the work in. You feel it's too much work or time? Don't do it. If Rorie bothers to learn the game this could be fun. He clearly hasn't so it's not.

I really enjoyed this episode, with the hostage negotiation and Dan's bad throw to try to end it. I'm looking forward to the next episode more now compared to the previous few.

The DanRyckert Un-Redemption
Red: [narrating] Sometimes it makes me sad, though... Giant Bomb's D&D show being gone. I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up DOES rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friends.
