God of War III Trailer

It's stuff like this that reminds me why I own a PS3 not just to use as a blu ray player.

Meh..... Didn't look so cool to me, but by no means was this bad... just that my expectations were unrealistically  high to begin with.  IMO, this IS the definitive PS3 game, and needs to nothing short of amazing.

Seriously, this looks like a PS2 game. I really hope they improve on the graphics before it's released, or Jaffe was just full of shit.

Its kinda bad that I can just imagine the playstation buttons popping up during the trailer, and that's exactly how it'll play. Zzzzzz.

That last couple seconds of him tearing that bird in half made me laugh.

It's still in its pre-alpha build. It's not going to look that great.  old 2007 killzone trailers looked kinda bad.  Just give it some time.

A grandeur trailer made for a Playstation game with the intent to make the game look more fun than it actually is to play.

Obviously some people don't remember what God of War 2 looked like, or are deluded. This game looks amazing and is significantly better graphically than God of War 2 was. The only similarity between the two is the combat, which is as epic as ever. I can't wait!

That was epic. It totally shattered my mild scepticism of the VGA trailer. This game is going to be crazy amazing.

Wow. I mean... wow. That blood looked freakin' horrendous, like it was lifted out of a ps2 game. Why would you go to the trouble of making something that looks that good only to ruin with half arsed gore effects.

I never played a God of War-Game before and I sure as hell will not play this one ... but oh my gosh, does it look fantastic!

When it became apparent all that took place on the back of a titan it went from "meh" to "dude, awesome". Hopefully it has that same sense of scale in the final product.

hype trailers are rad for their own sake. doesn't change the fact that this is a hack'n'slash and that just ain't my bag, yo!

This game looks awsome. Although i cant really see what it could bring to the table that GOW1/2 didnt. Obviously the graphics and scale for the game will be improved but that's about it. It will still just be a basic button masher with the odd button pressing cenquences. But GOW can easily get away with it just because its so fun/gory/innovative and has a brilliant story. I'm going to go out and buy a PS3 just for this game because i played the first two and to not play the last one would be dumb. Definatly need to play the first two again because i kind off forget what happens. Is Krato's bro going to be in this one? Thats the cutscene at the end of the 2nd one, no?

Damn, that was gorgeous! I think that he is riding on Gaia's back as she is climbing up to Mt. Olympus - so this is taking place directly after God of War 2. Pretty rad.

I love how he's being held up from falling thousands of yards to his death by this little bird-thing and yet he still shoves his blades into its gut trying to bring it down. That's fucking manly! Fucking EPIC TRAILER!

Looks like the same shit as 2 which looks like the samething as 1... this game is repeative even in story.  Looks like all the old moves...

Glad to see the third chapter of one of my favorite video game series is looking so good.

The Spike VGA teaser was absolutely garbage and did no justice for the game... but this... this is EPIC. Kratos looks absolutely gorgeous (except for that small clip from the VGA teaser). The environments look like an HD God of War 2 (which is what I wanted out of this game).
