Maxis needs to work on a sequel to SimGolf.

cautiously optimistic for this.  I like the idea of multi-class paths with lots of AoE status effects.  it could get really interesting with combat puzzles and strategy.  Combine that with an action-RPG with a decent story and it could be a real sleeper hit for me.  but he said the word "Tank" when talking about other combat classes.  Failure.  Keep that tank-heal-dd crap out of my games.  It's 2011 ya'll.  Time for that D&D crap to die already.

Ill just play HoN, DoTA, and LoL

Why do people keep saying this looks like DotA?  This seem much more close to Diablo.  Also, looks very rough.

Spore sucks ass, why make a game based on that? Oh and since when did Maxis make bloody splatter games? I thought they only made family crap such as the sims.

This seems like Spore, but without anything that made Spore interesting/unique.

This is what Maxis decided to spend all that Sim cash on? Looks interesting, I didn't know they could do anything else though haha

I've seen Starcraft maps that had less janky-looking diablo/dota action.  This is just pathetic.

This game interests me but I quite dislike the art direction. I am glad though to see a resurgence in the action rpg genre. One of my favorites.

Damn, no kidding. It even looks the same.   I dunno, the game looks kinda slow, like the engine wasn't made to handle this kind of combat. Hard to explain, just the way the enemies move and react to attacks looks bad to me. I've played a lot of Diablo 2 and Torchlight though, so I have kinda have a high bar set for this type of game. Not trying to sound pretentious, and it might feel a lot better than it looks, but that's just my impressions. "

Thrillingly mediocre.

I may be the only one that doesn't think this looks terrible. A bit slow but overall i think it could be okay. I don't expect a Diablo level of polish and gameplay. However it will probably be worth 30-40 dollars after the price drops from nobody buying it because it "looks terrible".

But why not build it in an engine that actually works well if you aren't going to use Spore's creation tools? "  

I realy liked spore, I will check this out for sure.

The creature creation behind Spore was it's greatest attribute, so now they're making a Spore game without the creation aspect?

I do not want a half-assed Diablo clone from you. Especially in the year Diablo 3 actually will come out. 
 
Make a new Simcity already!

Now that I think about it if Maxis keeps making PC only games they are soon going to have to shut down or get mayor layoffs.You can only make PC only games for so long until you realize you're not going to fully profit from it.
