Now that I have watched the trailer though, I can say the framerate doesn't look so good (as DeadMonkeys pointed out). I'll have to see more, but right now my impression is a very average action game.

Just a heads up, I've been playing the EU version (it was released last week), and this game is utterly atrocious. Like, beyond just bad. It's seriously one of the worst games I've played over the last decade or so. A shame, as Folklore was pretty cool and underrated.

Surprised this is still coming out as the movie itself wasn't a grand blockbuster. Yes I totally misread the hammer name & thought it said skill hammer, shame might have made the game slightly better calling it that. My gut feeling on this is that the game is not going to sell all that well (a movie based game from Namco but delayed from movie launch so could be better than movie or just less broken/stale than when the movie came out).

The movie was just terrible cant see how the game can be any better.
Maybe it was just the video but the frame rate seemed terrible

its run super smooth
its kinda like a small realtime jrpg story sucks grafichs are mediocre at best but the gameplay is pretty awsome its like over 50 wepons and magic spells and to upgrade them you need some spec items that only some enemis drop so you can go back and do old qusts are grind if you like that sort of game go get it when it comes out :)

@Vito_Raliffe: i am currently playing the eu version and i have never had anyproblem whit any lag its the vidio not the game
its over 100 diffrent enemys and a large collection of wepons and spells and to upgrade the wepons you need some spec items that only some monsters drop so you can go back to older quests and grind.
it feels like a realtime jrpg that hasnt got the time it needed but it costed a half of what games usaly costs in my country and its farliy long
i got my moneys worth

I actually beat that. I enjoyed the flying but that was pretty much it! Not a good game.

One day, Superman will get its Arkham Asylum...

I didnt see the Devil May Cry comparison. Looks more like an even worse God of War clone then Dante's Inferno. Kind of funny being that in God of war 2 you fight Perseus (which comes out of nowhere I might add, but I wont start that topic haha). Anyway, regardless what its copying, this does not look like a quality game.

Its pretty bad when your hype gameplay video shows off ugly boring combat more then anything worth seeing (suggesting there isnt anything worth seeing). I may have to get it just to say I have it (i like collecting bad games) but I may not play this one.
