the controls seem really wierd to me, but my biggest concern is the track record of downloadable shooters. 2 weeks online play then dead.

Yeah, I can't think of anyone more suited to shift the online shooter paradigm than the guys who make cute puzzley DS games.

" @Nikral: Sure they can make different types of games, but online shooters are not the easiest genre to break into right now. In fact it's hard to be anything more than a flash in the pan even as a studio with experience in that area, since there's only so many MP games a person can put time into, and a million established franchises to compete with. Unless this is polished right out of the gate, and realizes its ambitions well enough to stand out (like Monday Night Combat) it's going nowhere. And even then, who knows if it will have any longevity. It wouldn't be the first good MP game that died prematurely on XBLA. "

I wouldn't think much of this if I didn't hear that dude talking about the combat focused movement on the podcast last night. That alone has me interested.

Seems like Socom: tactical something for the psp.

What is this? I can't even tell what is going on.  Combat focused movement sounds will most likely amount to cover and attack. Haven't seen that before...

This trailer makes me wish they made a pc multiplayer version of Scribblenauts. The potential!
