The 89.99 CAD price on this just kills it for me, 101 after taxes for Ratchet and Clank is just to much. On the other hand, using the PS5 for PS4 games almost exclusively also kind of sucks.

Amazing shirt Jeff, amazing morning radio voice Jeff. The game looks really cool, I appreciated how full of robot life that future city was. I did find those yellow rift/portal grappling things really disorienting to watch for some reason but I'm guessing it makes more sense when you're the one playing.

Rift Apart is so good that it made Jeff's voice deeper. Now that is an endorsement.

The dash kinda reminds of Johnny Cage's shadow kick haha.

My favorite in the series is the spin-off point and click adventure game made by Telltale called "Inside Out: A Ratchet Story". Very disturbing and graphic scenes, but really sets up Ratchet as this drug-addicted problem teen who had to claw his way out of a longtime pimp's stronghold in order to reach his childhood dreams of owning his own garage in the planet Veldin. Shame you can't get the game anymore since Telltale went belly up.

I'm so glad to hear this game made such a good impression on Jeff G specifically. My experience with the series is a lot like his, with each entry I've gotten a little more distant. Can't wait to jump in tomorrow night!

This might just be the first Ratched game I have to play, if just because it looks so good from a technical perspective.

I really loved the Ratchet & Clank remake on PS4 and excited for this one as well. Shame that there's so little else to play on these new consoles that it's hard to justify buying one just yet (if I could even find a PS5 somewhere).

Lol, basically ever since the first HD Ratchet and Clank game on Ps3, the Pixar comparisons have never stopped.
