No it didn't.

I really like these games and I buy them every other year, but if you put this next to MW2 I wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

Exploding dogs is disgusting. They should pull this from the market.

For a game this big, I wouldn't be surprised if they had a "get away with everything" pass.

I know people get really poo-pooey over the Call of Duty games, but to me, this looks like the zombie mode from W@W/Black Ops but fun.

The Call of Duty series really does seem to bring out the internet hipsters. There are valid reasons to dislike this series, and if people don't enjoy it that's fine, but it's like the console wars all over with people proclaiming BF3>MW3 and GoW3>MW3.

I'm really curious if this will be the game that sets the series on a downhill slide in terms of money making. Anyways, I can't believe how much this looks like MW2.

Man, what an insane amount of negativity. I think this game looks great and I will be getting it for sure. I have put hundreds of hours into the online of each Call of Duty since 2 and will no doubt do the same here.  
 
Also everyone keeps saying it looks exactly like MW2. Have you guys played that game recently? Modern Warfare 2 does not look very good anymore. This game looks similar, but it does look better.

Remember when IW was original?

A lot of people are starting to crack after seeing this video. Seen quite a few comments of people now 'reluctantly' deciding to purchase the game...

This & Spec Ops might be the only reasons for me to considering getting MW3. Maybe the predictably short & ridiculous campaign too.

As for the exploding dogs.  I guess I've been desensitized to dog killing in video games at this point, because even as a dog lover I didn't think twice about the dog bomb until I read someone's comment about it.

@zombie2011: It has regular spec ops too. This is another mode. The title is wrong.   Also I love people hating on the game because it is the cool thing to do.

Game is shaping up to look pretty decent. Won't be a day one buy for me, since I've chosen to go with Battlefield 3 for my modern military arcade shooter needs. By the time I get this game, hopefully any launch day kinks will be ironed out so I can enjoy a more stable experience from the getgo.

Hm, I always end up being bored half way through a MW3 trailer, I'm not sure what that says about me or the game.

Ho Hum. Looks like same ole same ole. Battlefield 3 for me, Skyrim in November. I'll pick up  MW3  when it hits the bargain bins...and look forward to what Respawn has in the works : )

Here's what I noticed- Redish/strawberry screens a lot, a knife kill that lunged 5+ feet, little to no kick on the guns and overall it looks like a clone of the previous games. But those are definitely not bad things when you consider the people who play this game.

Although it's nice to see them get a mode like this I guess. Looks more entertaining than Zombies.

Given the reasons why people say they hate it, they're pretty fair opinions. Just because someone dislikes a game doesn't mean they're trying to fit in/be cool. It could just be their honest opinion.

That's what the fans want when it comes to this game, more of the same every year. If they came out with a game that didn't have killstreaks/perks, but instead added different things that could change up the gameplay, and then talked about their new engine, the majority of their fans would start to lose interest.

It's insane how much this game looks EXACTLY like MW2.
