Oh wow, I hope this turns out good. Gaiman is one of my favorite writers. I absolutely adore the man. I'm assuming that it'll be a smaller, downloadable title? Seems like the right move for his first venture into video games, unlike Guillermo del Toro's previous, ambitious attempt.

It's about damn time I say. The man introduced to me the world of graphic novels with The Sandman and his books are always a great read. With more Sandman coming and a foray into games I couldn't be more excited!

Somehow, hearing about this just made me want another Discworld point and click game.

I'm sure some of you can figure out the logic behind this connection.

@adrian79: Most people are going to say American Gods, which is a great novel, don't get me wrong. Very literary. Required reading in some college courses, I think. But Gaiman's best work is undoubtedly The Sandman comics. If you like graphic novels at all, go read them now. Seriously.

As far as his novels go, my favorite is The Graveyard Book and his newest book Ocean at the End of the Lane is a pretty close second. He writes children better than almost anyone, and those two books shine because of it. But really anything he's written is gold. Except for Neverwhere. Neverwhere is kinda meh.

Fucking hate the artstyle. It's basically "The Cave" which is alright but the dude with giant chin is absolutely the worst piece of art they could display in this video.

I would prefer a more mature look. And a more serious story with a bit of dark humour.

I had no idea this would be crowdfunded until I remember that Neil Gaiman is married to the Queen of Music Crowdfunding. Looking forward to how it develops.

Considering that Neil Gaiman is my favorite writer of fiction and that he is a god among men I am SOLD on this. The spooky piano was just a bonus XD

Hmm, not liking the art style, I can't see it working as anything other than a comedy.

Though I am sold on Neil's presentation, and The Odd Gentlemen... actually I think I'll go and finish those last few levels of PB Winterbottom that I'd been putting off now.

Will totally buy. I've got to admit continuous unease at game campaigns. Will still buy, though.
