Hopefully the story isn't complete shit like Xenoblade.

The endings are interesting. And actually COMPLETELY different, which is pretty cool.

Edit: To clarify, the game has several endings and none of them are anything alike. Something I haven't seen often in games, you usually get permutations.

Looks cool, added to the list of Wii games I still have yet to play- I am also actively playing older generation games like some commenters here and welcome a new title on an older piece of hardware. There's an art to making something good within constraints and something noble about putting something out so late. I hope this developer sees some good money, if only from those who don't 'shelve' their past systems.

Is that scene of her being topless in bed so essential to the story that it had to be in the trailer? Or are they hoping to get a few more sales with the potential for anime boobs?

I watched this:

From what people think this isn't a strict JRPG, it's more of a third person action game. Gamespot UK review (from when it came out here 11 months ago, sorry America) -

which shows a longer version of the same scene and she isn't topless, she's just wearing a shoulder-less dress.

I've only watched the trailer and with the theme of "not turning into a monster" being pretty prevalent, I could understand a nude scene where she cherishes her skin while she still has it... but I don't know if video games have matured enough to do something like that yet. Maybe.

Not that it should really matter, because any time such is mentioned it always seems to stop conversation about women in games dead in its tracks, but the game's project head is a woman.

I played this ages ago and i'd call it an action RPG, it's more of a dungeon crawler really, you have limited inventory a hub, upgrades and other loot, day to night options. The Elena has some of the most disturbing (and possibly most human) scenes in an RPG you'll probably ever see, combat and controls are responsive. using items leaves you vulnerable, each enemy needs a certain strategy and boss fights feel epic.

It's the worst of the 3 but it's still quite a good game :)
