Psycho Bandit Krieg Joins Borderlands 2's Playable Cast Today

All DLC is out? Time to play the game!

@morningstar: there's still the last campaign dlc. But it features tiny tina, therefore i'm not so hot on that one.

I do like the whole risk/reward thing they're going for. Have to see how it plays out in-game though. He has a lot of really interesting skills too, such as the ability to sacrifice himself to get up others instantly - useful when going down for him can mean "running around throwing dynamite". Definitely going to be a lot of fun to play around with.

Am I the only one who read that at a glance as Psycho Mantis? Man that would be weird and kinda cool. This seems alright too.

For some reason I thought this would be included in the season pass. The character looks fun and creative, but I've kind of had my fill of this game for now. I'll pick it up later on sale.

The use of a British Accent to imply sophistication? Groundbreaking.

@sweep: I dunno, reading your post in the same way that Sir Hammerlock speaks made it way better.

The character looks cool, but I feel like I've gotten everything I want out of the game. Haven't even started the 3rd playthrough yet with my main character.

@sweep: Most times I would agree with you, but the Hammerlock character is suppose to be a stereotypical 'big game hunter' so the accent matches his whole ascetic.

This dude looks like a lot of fun to play as. I probably won't get him any time soon, as I've sadly had my fill of BL2. I've been hoping that Gearbox would eventually better optimize it for single-player, but as that's clearly never going to happen, I can't bring myself to sink any significant amount of time into it any longer. I'm sure this guy will go on sale some time in the near future.

@sweep: it's just as lame for people living in America.

Seeing this game play out from a third-person perspective is really weird. Anywhoo, the character actually looks pretty neat, and while I noticed that a lot of people suddenly turned against Borderland's brand of personality with BL2, I still really enjoy the sort of tone its established for itself, including for trailers such as these.

Seriously. Playing BL2 in single-player on NG+ was a bloody pain in the ass.

Meh...finished half of Borderlands 2 and don't have plans to play it anytime soon.

I didn't even make it through half.

I don't think I wanna play the game again as melee focused character after I played as Zer0.

I tapped out about halfway, now I don't feel as bad!

And yet, I keep thinking, "Well, maybe one of the two DLC characters would be just what I needed."

I think this guy looks fun and I really like Borderlands 2.. but I've played kind of a lot of Borderlands already..

Besides, Risk/Reward Melee character is kind of how I ended up playing as the Mechromancer.

So I hope you who liked borderlands 2 don't see this as trolling, but am I the anomaly here when I say Borderlands 2 Looked neat but played kinda mediocre?*

Already downloaded him this morning before work. I can't wait to get home and try him out. Looks really fun!

I did. It's still pretty awesome.

At least, I really like Borderlands 2. Played it quite a bit. Finished it with twice with Zer0, once with Axton and have a third playthrough going with Zer0 and my second with Axton.

I could use some more Borderlands although I am getting a bit tired of playing the same story over and over. Looking forward to Borderlands 3.

Not liking a game isn't considered trolling. Its your opinion and you're totally entitled to it. I personally loved the game, but it doesn't upset me when someone else doesn't.

Let's put it this way, I sunk like 180+ hours into the first game and beat it four times. I've only played Borderlands 2 once.

I played BL2 a lot when it came out, I'm thinking this dude might get me back in for another play through.

Probably has to do with the fact you playing through Borderlands 2 was basically you playing through Borderlands 1 for the fifth time. That and BL2 was trying way too hard to be funny with every single gag being extremely predictable. Also don't think I can stomach Handsome Jack a second time.

Have they raised the level cap yet? I was maxed out before the first DLC and didn't enjoy it so much as a result.

Man I played so much BL2 I really just have no interest in any new content at this point. I got the season pass and never even started the last dlc. =P I remember pitchford boasting about limitless gameplay and no level cap or some nonsense, what a load of crap he spewed as usual.

@evilnights: Well the DLC cap raised it to 61 a while ago.

I haven't played anything but borderlands 2 since it came out.

Sweep just implied he wasn't sophisticated. Hehe.
