You know, I really had no interest in this game until today after watching this and reading the hands-on here on Giantbomb. Now I'm starting to get pretty excited for it. Not quite a day 1 buy, but I'll probably try to rent it if possible.

well im sad now...isnt this game going to be a ps3 and pc game...not xbox 360? that makes me a sad panda :(
oh well my new graphics card will be getting th test of its life when this game gets out,

Symphatic guy. Interesting game. Color me curious.

I don't like the art style that much and the story is hackneyed; however, the design of the game does indeed sound awesome. If it ends up being good I really don't want it to be swamped at release by other better known, but perhaps lesser quality, titles. Best of luck to the Gearbox team.

His excitement is palpable, and infectious. I love the art style of this, and Pitchford sells it like a pro.

Also: I am absolutely getting ODST, as I am not under the mistaken impression that getting it will somehow make original games scarcer. Borderlands looks totally sweet, but I'm gonna pass on it, at least for a while... because I'm getting Brutal Legend in October instead. A person can enjoy both new IPs and sequels?! What a concept! Opening the vault on Pandora you say?  Let's do it, what could possibly go wrong?!

Opening it will repopulate the world with with crazy hardcore monsters, but unlock a new weapon manufacturer called Hope Industries or something.  Calling it.

Holy shit guys, I think this could be the next Diablo we all wanted.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the art style at all? The UI seems overly cluttered also.

This game looks alright so far, I absolutely love the art style. Really, if it wasn't for the art style I wouldn't be even nearly as interested. I love collecting loot a la Diablo, and the game reminds me of Fallout 3, which I love, so I'm hoping Borderlands is great.

i love that guys..also,bordeland awsome..and i do think we should support some fresh original ideas,give those guys a little push,ye know..!

The story seems excellent, the graphics look excellent, now how does it play?

Really nice interview and I like this guy's passion.  Still don't know if I'll play this but that's just me being highly selective.  I know a lot of people will love having a proper co-op game to play with, though.

who do I have a feeling Id and Bethesda will steal this idea years later, and more successfully?

This looks like the first Gearbox game I'm going to love. I've enjoyed their previous games but none of them were as unique as this.

The only thing I wonder about the AI generating gear, I wonder if it actually creates different models, or uses pre-existing models with different stats.

Will those competitive "arena domes" only support the 4 players in a given group?  Or can we get full-on 16-player team deathmatch?

Randy is such a cool guy, and that is probably the best example of gameplay for this game I have seen yet.  Somehow I just got more excited for this game, the wait will be hard.

Man, he alone would make me buy this game. I like that guy alot.

This game looks really good, I was hyped for hellgay london and it sucked so bad.  I hope to god this will be a billion times better.
