You can tell Randy is really psyched about this game and I can't help but join him in psychitude! I want my bajillion guns post-haste!!

Yep, day one purchase for me.  Gearbox is awesome and count me stoked as all hell for this game!

Art style is good but textures look blurry and ugly.

Gearbox most certainly did not make Half Life. They were responsible for at least one expansion to Half Life though. For a while there they were pretty much Kings of the expansion, doing packs for a whole bunch of FPS games.

You could have at least asked about Aliens, and got no reply.

Damn, I'm totally sold. I heard a lot of chatter about this game and thought it sounded interesting but I didn't give it much thought. This interview changed my mind, I'm totally going to pick this up.

I hope the framerate will be a little better by retail, but other than that it looks great.

I can't wait to see what this new IP has to offer. Borderlands has got me super excited. I have gotten sick of the continuous deman placed around sequels and reiterations of past properties. It is not healthy for the games industry to keep dwelling on old IPs as it drives capital away from new projects and keeps the industry centered on "what works." Thats "what works" for the bean counters, not necessarily works for the consumers.

okay, literally sold on this game, i knew this game would be a day one purchase, and also this is the first time i have heard about the competetive side of the game, something i was not expecting, sounds and looks amazing.

I had heard very little about this game before, and now I'm considering a preorder. As someone who grew up on the "compulsion" games (Diablo, Dungeon Siege, etc) and is slowly learning to enjoy FPS, this sounds RIGHT up my alley. Awesome. Can't wait for October :)

I came into this video only knowing Borderlands had a crazy art style, and wanted to mix roleplaying with straight up FPS. Now I know that its a game that I really need to buy.

One of the most genuinely excited people ive ever seen and I'm pumped after hearing the official take on the game.

I LOVE the fact that the enemies won't auto level with you. Why level up if you can't go back and beat down some low level enemies who used to give you a hard time? These guys get exactly what I want in a  game :)

Man this is a must get. I love co-op. I love leveling games, and I love original ideas. No more freaking shooter clones and bad rpgs. Borderlands will shine a rightous light :D

This game looks flippin sweet, but I'm still undecided about buying it. Mass Effect 2 will probably be one of the biggest (if not, the biggest) rpg-shooter coming out this year. My biggies this year will be ME2 and AC2, but this game is definitely creeping its way up the excitement meter xD

Hell yes, game looks awesome & that interview answered a lot of the questions I had on the game. Now all I have to do is survive the wait for it to come out. Between this & Brutal Legend, Rocktober 2009 will pwn all for a long time.

Hearing about this game is awesome. Seeing the game in motion... Even better. My top 2 most anticipated games of the year are Halo 3: ODST ad Modern Warfare 2 but I think this will end up being my GOTY. And Randy Pitchford? Gearbox doesn't need a marketting/PR Team. Just put Randy on the frontlines and he'll win the war. Dude has 'pitch' right in his damn name!

I've preordered this game, brutal legend, and assassin's creed 2. and I'm going to wait until after christmas to get halo 3 odst and modern warfare 2, but this game is probably my most anticipated game for this year, but there are so many games coming out it's hard to tell.
