While the tone is a bit much, this is actually pretty informative and the game actually looks better than BL2 with the jumping mechanics and such.

I like Borderlands. This seems like Borderlands. I will probably like this.

I'm playing through Borderlands 1 at the moment, already went through Borderlands 2. I think I'll be done with this series for a little while.

regardless of these adverts Destiny has sold me more on Borderlands the Pre sequel since i expected it to be the loot based fps to get.

It's more Borderlands, which I like. I'll probably get it, though I can see why people might be tired of it.

I hope the split screen they mentioned is also on PC.

Edit: Went back and read that * more clearly. Split screen only on 360 and PS3. That's unfortunate.

The writing seems still awful. BUT, the new classes look interesting and adding stuff like the Groundslam and even more weapon types is always welcome. So, I'm on the fence. I hate Borderlands' story/humor but enjoy the gameplay and loothunting.

Also, is that song at the end Bangarang or just a close facsimile?

I think Mr. Torgue is the best thing to come out of Borderlands 2. This game looks fun as hell but I'd rather wait to play it on the PS4.

If the game runs a lot better on the PS3 than its predecessor did, I might just say fuck it and get the PS3 version though. Destiny isn't enough to satiate my loot lust.

Well it was a toss up between Destiny (something new and different) and this but the beta put me off as I felt the game lacked any character so its the Pre-Sequel for me. It helps that I love Borderlands and both the previous games are my go to games when I have nothing in the queue to play or just don't fancy playing anything and just want to shoot stuff and put a nice big grin on my face.

I cannot wait and hopefully I can get it for around £20 on PC in all its phyx glory.

This seems like it'll be a fun time, at least.

Okay, I lost it at that. That was actually pretty damn funny.

For whatever reason there seems to be a group of people who think of themselves as "Too good" or above borderlands. I don't really get how anyone can find this game insufferable or bad when it's a lighthearted story with a fantastic cooperative loot based game underneath. Anyone who thinks Destiny is a great loot based fps clearly has never given borderlands a chance, which is sad, because it's fantastic.

Very excited to dump some hours into this with some friends and have a great time with all the new stuff, super glad they finally put a horadric cube like thing in this game finally.

I finally played through Mr. Torgue's DLC last night. I enjoy the way that he yells things, and laughed out loud at a few points in this video. Judge me all you like!

I wasn't planning to get this at launch, but dumbness has been confirmed. I'm sold.

I got 2 minutes in and had to stop. I thought Mr. Torgue was supposed to be a Rand Savage character...he's not very much like the Wild Man.

Oh well, I'm still excited about the new characters, jump mechanics, and ice weapons. I'm definitely picking this up on Steam when it goes on super-sale around this time next year.

Yeah, you know what? I'm fucking getting this. I wasn't gonna, but after the disappointing bore of Destiny, this is exactly what I need. Not to mention that watching this video reminded me that I still really love the Borderlands world.

Also, Mr. Torgue is the best. Just like that movie Ghost Dad.

I liked that, it sold me on The Pre Sequel. The only thing is its not on the PS4 and i played sooo much BL2 again just a month ago

Maybe? Liked Borderlands 1 & 2 but I can't say that I feel like playing another stop gap title that is still held back by old machines. Maybe it'll be good Steam sale fodder.

Mr. Torgue is the best character. This is maybe a little excessive though, but still pretty good.

I very much enjoyed Borderlands 1 and 2, so I'll probably end up getting this.

After playing (the boring) Borderlands 1, this would have been great. After (the better) Borderlands 2, I don't think I'm up for playing this (far more interesting) Pre-Sequel.

I'm one of those who loved the humor in Borderlands 2, and this seems to carry that on just fine. Mr. Torgue is pretty cool, and probably one of the best characters from BL2, so that's something. The Wilhelm cyborg stuff seems neat, and Claptraps "random effect" skill is pretty crazy.
Hadn't planned on getting this, seeing how I keep playing a couple of other loot-driven games (Warframe and Diablo 3), but fuck... this did make me want to get it.

And come on, that meme bit? Pretty damn good.
